Sunnycroft is a family-owned residential home specialising in dementia care. We prefer to deliver personalised care to a small number of people, so we have just thirty bedrooms. 

We're in a semi-rural area of West End, close enough to the M27 to make visiting convenient, but in a quiet spot with stunning countryside views.

If we say it ourselves, our staff are an amazing bunch. Many of them have been with us for years and are exceptionally good at their job.  We know that we're only as good as the people in the home. And we're confident that we've got the best.

Every resident benefits from a personalised care plan, ensuring that they receive the help and support that they need at the time that they need it. Our personal touch is backed up by the latest technology, helping carers to concentrate on what they do best.

Welcome to your new home

There are plenty of new friends waiting for you at Sunnycroft. 


Care staff are on hand around the clock to support you with your personal care needs, including assistance with dressing,  washing, bathing and continence care. We are very experienced with dementia care.


Activities are a highlight of life at Sunnycroft, with all manner of different things taking place across a typical week. We're very proud of our catering as well; there's lots of homemade food with plenty of options to suit all tastes. 


In normal times, your visitors are always welcome to come in to the home or indeed to take you out for the day should you wish. 


We have visiting hairdressing and chiropody services coming in to the home which you are welcome to use, as well as visiting dentists and opticians.

Relax, recharge, revive

All of the bedrooms at Sunnycroft are available for either short term or long term use, whether you just need to stay for two days or two months.


Respite stays allow you to come and join us for a period of recuperation, a holiday whilst your carers take their holiday or as a trial before you join us on a permanent basis.


Whatever your need for respite, you will always receive a warm welcome at Sunnycroft and will receive all of the same services as a permanent resident. 

You don't have to stay the night

We offer an exclusive and affordable daycare service for people who are independent enough to live alone, but want some fun and company during the day.


Daycare sessions include morning and afternoon activities, lunch and refreshments. Places are limited to two on every day of the week. Daycare clients join permanent residents throughout the day.


The daycare session runs from 10.00am until 4.00pm, but arrival and departure times can be flexible to meet the needs of the individual.


No long term commitment is required, and sessions can be arranged at short notice.
